# Mapping list

The mapping list assigns each **causer** an **origin**: *Own plugin* / *Third-party plugin* / *Shopware core*. This origin drives the category, the ticket workflow (fix guide vs. ticket text), and the recommendations in the report.

## What is in here?

* **Plugins** (technical name, e.g. `AcmeMegaMenu`) – third-party plugin by default.
* **Vendor packages** (e.g. `doctrine/dbal`, `symfony/cache`) and **Shopware core** – automatically marked as **Shopware core** and **protected** (lock icon).

On activation and on every scan, newly detected causers are added automatically. As a rule, you don't need to do **anything** here.

## Mark your own plugin

So that an error from **your own** plugin yields a **fix guide** instead of a ticket text:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

## Find the plugin

Find the plugin's technical name via the **search bar**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Open the origin selector

Open the select field in the **Origin** column.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Choose the origin

Choose **Own plugin**. The change is saved immediately.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Protected entries (core / vendor)

Entries with a **lock icon** are protected: Shopware core and framework vendors. You should **not** delete them – the plugin needs this classification. Their select field is disabled and there is no delete.

## Unlock protected entries (at your own risk)

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

## Find the unlock switch

At the top you find a warning and the switch **"Unlock protected entries (at your own risk)"**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Toggle the switch

Toggle it if you really need to edit/delete a protected entry.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

## Turn it off again

**Caution:** after that, flawless operation can no longer be guaranteed. Turn it off again once corrected.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Add entry / Import detected

* **Add entry** – manually creates a causer.
* **Import detected** – adds all causers occurring in errors that are not yet listed, with the detected origin.

## Search & sort

Search causers at the top. The list is sorted by **origin** by default (own/third-party/core), alphabetically within each. Use the column headers to re-sort.
