2. Set at least:
   * **Log watch active** = on.
   * **Report recipients** – at least one email address.
   * Optionally, **Instant mail recipients**.
3. For AI analysis (optional):
   * Choose the **Provider** (Claude or ChatGPT).
   * Enter the matching **API key**.
   * Enable the provider with the **active switch**.

## Open the menu

The plugin lives under **Settings → Extensions → Log watch**. On first open you land on the **dashboard**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Run **"Scan now"** once (dashboard or error list) so you immediately have data.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## Uninstall

When uninstalling you can choose whether to keep the data. Without "keep data", the plugin tables and all plugin settings are removed. Your log files are not affected.
