# Configuration all fields

## Operation

* **Log watch active** – Enables or disables the hourly scan.
* **Report recipients** – Email addresses for the summary report, separated by commas.
* **Instant mail recipients** – Email addresses for instant alerts, separated by commas.
* **Cron/report times** – For example: `07:00,16:00`.
* **Optional safety net: instant-mail patterns** – Enter one string per line. If a string appears in a message, an instant email is sent even without AI classification or a serious status. Examples:
  * `OutOfMemoryError`
  * `SQLSTATE`
  * `PayPal`

## Data protection (GDPR)

* **Mask personal data before sending to the AI** – Enabled by default and recommended.

## AI provider

* **Provider** – Claude or ChatGPT.
* **Claude active / OpenAI ChatGPT active** – Safety switch: the provider is only called when active.
* **AI answer language (locale code)** – Leave empty to use the administrator’s language; cron uses the system default. Set a fixed locale such as `de-DE` or `en-GB` if needed.
* **Anthropic API key** – `sk-ant-…` from `console.anthropic.com`.
* **Workspace ID** – Required only for identity-linked keys.
* **Claude model** – Opus provides the strongest quality; Haiku is the cheapest.
* **OpenAI API key** – Required only when OpenAI is selected.
* **OpenAI model** – Required only when OpenAI is selected.
* **Monthly budget (€)** – Used for the cost estimate.
* **Price fields per 1000 tokens** – Used for the cost estimate.

## Prompts per language

* **Analysis prompt: source** – Select by language, always English, or use your own prompt.
* **Own analysis prompt** – Used only when **Own prompt** is selected.

{% hint style="info" %}
The shipped prompts for analysis, ticket, and fix can be edited per language under **Settings → Snippets** using the keys `pixel-log-guard.prompt.*`.
{% endhint %}

## Reading

* **Environment / log source** – Production (`prod*.log`), Development (`dev*.log`), or a custom pattern.
* **Custom file pattern** – Used only for **Custom pattern**, for example `prod*.log`. Only files in `var/log` are read.
* **Minimum log level** – The minimum level from which logs are read. Default: warning.
* **Max. KB per file per run** – Protection against very large logs. Default: 512 KB.
* **Max. log file age (days)**
* **Max. new errors per run**
* **Spike factor** – An otherwise harmless error that suddenly occurs very often in one run is upgraded to **serious**.
