# Dashboard

Besides the CMS elements, the plugin adds its own backend menu: **Content → CMS Widgets → Dashboard**. This is where settings that go beyond a single element live, and they can be configured **per sales channel**.

## Overview

The dashboard's landing page shows three areas as tiles:

* **Social Media** – profile URLs and icons for social media platforms
* **Shariff** – enable and select social sharing buttons
* **Custom CSS code** – custom SCSS that gets included in the storefront theme

A "Documentation" tile also links to the online manual (docs.pixeleyes.de).

Every sub-page has a **sales channel** switch at the top. Settings are saved separately per sales channel (no selection = default/all channels).

## Social Media

Add the profile links for 26 platforms here (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, TikTok, Pinterest and many more). Each platform has its own card with:

* **URL** – link to your own profile.
* **Icon** – optional custom icon upload. Without an upload, the platform's default icon is shown automatically in its brand colour.

This profile data is used, among other things, by the **Team Member** elements (social links) and the **Social Bar**.

{% hint style="info" %}
After saving, the theme is automatically recompiled so custom icons appear in the storefront right away (see "Compile theme" below).
{% endhint %}

## Shariff

Enables and configures the **Shariff social sharing buttons** (privacy-friendly share buttons with no tracking on plain display), used by the "Social Sharing" CMS element.

* **Enable Shariff sharing buttons in the storefront** – master switch.
* A separate on/off switch per platform (Facebook, X/Twitter, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Telegram, mail, print and more – 25 platforms in total).

## Custom CSS code

A free-form **SCSS code editor** for custom adjustments that get included directly in the storefront theme when compiled – e.g. to tweak colours, spacing or small details without building a whole custom theme.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Warning:** Incorrect code can cause the storefront theme to render incorrectly. Only use this if you know what you are doing.
{% endhint %}

## Compile theme

The "Social Media" and "Custom CSS code" pages have a **"Compile theme"** button next to the **Save** button. It saves the settings and immediately recompiles the storefront theme afterwards, so changes (custom icons, custom SCSS) become visible right away – without having to manually recompile via **Settings → Theme management**.

On an SCSS syntax error, an error message appears and the previous theme stays active.
